Mission Statement
The Mid-West Arts Council shall provide artistic and cultural opportunities within the communities of the Mid-West Arts Council district, consisting of Hamiota Municipality, the RM of Oakview (including the communities of Rapid City, Oak River, and Cardale), eastern half of the RM of Wallace-Woodworth (including the communities of Kenton and Harding); and the southern half of Prairieview Municipality (including the communities of Decker, Isabella, Crandall, Arrow River, and Miniota). Vision Statement
Art and culture are important to the survival and vitality of a community, region, and our nation. In grass root fashion, the Council promotes the development of art and culture for all ages within the Mid-West District. The Council provides a forum for exhibitions, performances, workshops and other activities to encourage individual, group and community involvement.
Values Statement
